TOPR rescuer, Alpine skiing instructor

Participant of the program “Polish Winter Himalayan 2010-2015”,expeditions to Makalu (8463m) and Broad Peak Middle (8016m). Winner of 6 places in cross-country competitions for the highest peak in Russia. In the Tatras he has crossed over 100 roads many times in a lonely style! He also climbed  in the mountains of the USA, Dolomites, the Alps and the Tatra Mountains.

She has been climbing since 2001. Since 2005 she has been training as part of the climbing section, in 2007 she also transferred courses to the rocks near Kraków. In 2013 she obtained the rank of rock climbing instructor PZA, and this year the prestigious title of mountain climbing instructor PZA. She climbed in India, Morocco, the Caucasus, Chile, and the Alps and other mountains.

Kackar Mountains are exceptional! We were skiing 6 days. Every day snowcats use other part of mountains and every time we made a first lines in powder. I never expirence such a quality of snow with any other riders! We will come back in next sesson!

To be honest it was the best time in freeride live. 6 days of snowboarding in completely wild montains. Every day long, amazing power lines. In my opinion is the best freeride base!

Terrain

  • Our home base is in the town of Olgunlar. This is where the road stops, and all we can see around us are high mountains with peaks of 3,500m
  • Kackar Mountains are the highest part of the Pontic Mountains.
  • Highest peak – Kackar Dagi (3931m.a.s.l. ) – possible to reach from our base
  • In a straight line we are: 45km from Black Sea and 80km from Georgia

  • Huge powder lines from snowcat – the altitude difference reaches 1000 meters
  • Mostly wide open terrains with an average slope of 30 degrees
  • There are a lot of couloirs going down the valley. Some are steep and rocky, while others are wider and longer.
  • Distant, sparse woodland that serves as a safety net when visibility is low
